Tamayo Jewelers was founded by master watchmaker Luis Tamayo on April 5, 1968, in El Mercado de Los Angeles. For more than 45 years, our family has proudly served Boyle Heights and the greater Los Angeles area with quality craftsmanship, trusted repairs, custom jewelry, and a commitment to caring for our community.

Known lovingly by his customers as “Don Luis,” Mr. Tamayo built Tamayo Jewelers on the values of hard work, honesty, and family. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy continues through the Tamayo Family, who remain dedicated to carrying on his vision.

With the support of our loyal customers, friends, and neighbors, Tamayo Jewelers is still family-owned and family-operated, and we look forward to serving our community for generations to come.
